RBC Wealth Management Appoints Business Development Head For Channel Islands Push

RBC Wealth Management has launched a new Intermediary Wealth Solutions offering, appointing Adam Norris to lead the development of the business.

The services offered through the new Intermediary Wealth Solutions unit will include banking, cash management, treasury services, global custody, credit and financing, discretionary investment management and tax consultancy.

As senior manager, intermediary business development, Norris will be based in Jersey focusing on developing RBC’s institutional client relationships in the Channel Islands (such as with offshore trust companies, offshore fund and investment managers, family offices, insurance companies and captives).

Norris joins from HSBC Private Bank, where he oversaw a team focused on Channel Islands-based private clients and intermediaries. Before this he worked for Deutsche Bank in Jersey, managing portfolios for both high and ultra high net worth clients.

He now reports to Tim Houghton, RBC Wealth Management’s head of private client wealth management, offshore.
