Lawrence Graham, a London-headquartered law firm, has appointed Angela Calnan, a senior private capital solicitor, to its private capital team in Dubai.

Calnan will be the first member of the team to be based full-time in Dubai; LG's Dubai office opened in 2007.

Calnan will work on the team's private client and family business, the firm said in a statement. She specialises in offshore trusts, having previously worked as a solicitor in the UK and a legal consultant in the Channel Islands. Most recently, she worked for Guernsey-based Collas Day. 

"With the introduction of the family office platform and the trust law in recent years, it is an exciting time to be a private client lawyer in Dubai," Calnan said.
