Banque Profil de Gestion Hires Chief Investment Officer, Strengthens Management Team

Following its change of name and restructuring, Geneva-based Banque Profil de Gestion has hired Patrizio Merciai as chief investment officer and has also enlarged its team of managers.

Mr Merciai joins from Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) where he was director of wealth management. He had previously been successively chief economist, chief strategist and co-head of strategy at Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch between 1997 and 2004.

“In line with our philosophy of a culture of service, hiring Mr Merciai confirms our wish to offer personalised services adapted to the profile of each of our clients,” said Silvana Cavanna, chief executive of the bank.

Banque Profil de Gestion changed its name from Société Bancaire Privée in December 2009. It specialises in wealth management, with a focus on capital markets.
