UBS shuffles retail brokerage deck on Long Island

Chris Mone moves up the ladder, replacing D.C.-bound Clark in Garden City. UBS has given Christopher Mone a promotion. He's been made manager of the Swiss Bank's U.S. brokerage retail brokerage office in Garden City, N.Y., a suburb of New York in the nearer reaches of Long Island.

He replaces Robert Clark, who now runs UBS' Washington, D.C., office.

Before this move - which seems to have occurred a few days after the Fourth of July holiday - Mone managed two smaller Long Island branches in Huntington and South Hampton, which together have about 20 financial advisors. Mone's new office has about 75 advisors.

Mone, who has been with UBS since early in 2003, reports to Jason Chandler, managing director and regional manager for metropolitan New York.  Prior to joining UBS, he spent about a decade at Prudential Securities (now Wachovia Securities). -FWR
