Family Office Group Makes New Appointments for London

The US-based Family Office Exchange, which is a provider of research, education and networking services individuals and family office executives and advisors, has appointed two new senior staff to its London office. FOX has appointed Paul Pratt and Kripa Sethuraman as international managing partners.

Mr Pratt previously worked as head of sales for Breakingviews.com, the financial commentary and analysis company, and before that, he worked at market research firm Datamonitor. Meanwhile, prior to joining the Family Office Exchange, Ms Sethuraman was senior director for the Corporate Executive Board’s financial services practice in London.

The organisation is expanding at a time of growth in the single family office and multi-family office sector in Europe, although data about the traditionally discreet sector is typically hard to obtain. The rapid growth in recent years of ultra-high net worth individuals has helped fuel the sector’s growth.

The FOX appointments come barely a year after the hiring of Scott Winslow as FOX’s first managing partner based outside the US. Mr Winslow is relocating to Virginia and will provide research support for FOX’s international members from the US. “In recent months, we have seen a dramatic increase abroad in the breadth and depth of interest in FOX and the services and solutions we provide,” says Sara Hamilton, founder and chief executive of FOX. “The addition of Paul and Kripa help position FOX to meet critical business needs in what we perceive as a deserving but underserved market,” she said.
